Handmade Wooden Log Lamp

This log was rescued from the fire basket as it looked to be a great shape for a lamp. The centre was hollowed out by hand using an Adze. The back of the lamp has been sanded but the tool marks left to provide texture which can be felt when picking the lamp up. The inner hollow has been lightly stained so the tree rings can easily be seen. The darker stain used on the outside provides a great contrast.

Dimensions: 26cm high, 19cm across and 10cm across the base.
